Solution of some rock stability problems in slopes and walls with optimization of anchor elements
Holý, Ondřej ; Vojtasík,, Karel (referee) ; Pruška, Jan (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
This presented phd thesis focuses on the problems of instability in the rock walls and slopes, whose manifestation is among othersv rockfall and associated risks. It describes the theoretical aspects of the description of instability and summarizes the construction methods and technologies to eliminate them. On the basis of knowledge gained from specific buildings in the Czech Republic and based on the research project solved by author, submits suggestion to optimimalization of the anchoring elements as a basic part of most remediation methods.
Multipurpose hall in Holice
Rückerová, Eva ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with the design and assessment of the roof construction of the multi-purpose hall in Holice. The other two dimensions of the hall are 28 x 45 m. Height of the hall is 11,28 m. Roofing is done in three variants. The final solution is processed for one presentation. The main supporting element is formed by cross-linking arc beam made of laminated wood. Girders are spaced 5 m and connected purlins. Stability of the construction by three field bracings. The cladding is a rafter, shuttering of OSB particle that carry the roof deck.
Timber foot bridge over a wolf run
Mynaříková, Alice ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Straka, Bohumil (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the construction of a timber foot bridge over the wolf run in the Šumava National Park. The total length of the bridge is 240 m with two ground plan bends. The foot bridge includes three viewing decks, two of which are covered with shed roofs. The foot bridge is divided into 16 segments. Each segment is 15 m long with a width of 2.2 meters. The ground plan dimensions of the viewing decks are approximately 15x7 and 15x11 m. As the main structural material has been chosen glued laminated timber of the strength class GL28h, other elements are made of solid timber of the strength class C24. The thesis includes an introductory document, options analysis, technical report, static analysis, bill of material and drawings.
The botanical pavillion in Jihlava
Kuchtová, Ludmila ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a load-bearing structure of the botanical pavillion in Jihlava. The construction is designed as a variable structure of both steel and timber. Each solution has a different type of ribs. The layout is a hexadecagon with maximum dimension of 30 meters. The height of the building is considered to be 10 meters.
Automation of static solution of some wood structures problems
Hetver, Jan ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
The object of this work is to create a program with automatic design and assessment of joints with pin connections. The program uses procedures ČSN 73 1702 and the Johansen relations to calculate capacity. The program is particularly appropriate for saving time during a lengthy draft of these connections. It helps to easily assess connections to the ultimate limit state and serviceability.
Production of a bolt on CNC lathe
Kališ, Jiří ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis treates about aplication coupling bolt in energy power industry. This coupling bolt is used as a coupler of flange shaft on the turbine with generator. Work developed in the bachelor degrees addresses application of this coupling bolt and technological proces of the component production order by foreign client. There is also described mounting and disassembly of this coupling bolt. According to the needs of client is used material 34CrNiMo6, persuant to germany marking DIN 1.6582. Then coupling bolt is made by using CNC lathe and after that are made nondestructive tests.
Wooden supporting structure of a family house in Roztoky u Jilemnice
Mejvald, Martin ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Bukovská, Pavla (advisor)
This thesis is aimed at the design of wooden load-bearing structure for a detached house in the village of Roztoky u Jilemnice. It is a detached house with one storey and a living attic. The designed structure has a rectangular floor plan of 7,5 x 17 m with a height of 8 m. Glue laminated timber frames were chosen as a structural system. The building is covered by a gable roof with a 40° slope. The load bearing structure of the roof consists of wooden truss made of grown timber. The whole structure is further reinforced with steel bars. The structure was modelled in Dlubal RFEM 5.27.01, which was also used to determine the internal forces on the individual elements of the structure. The assessment of the elements was carried out in RFEM and partially verified by manual calculation. In addition, selected connections in the structure such as the bolted multi-slot connection were addressed.
The wooden structure of the building for a kindergarten
Dreslerová, Natálie ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Bukovská, Pavla (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is a design of a timber structure for living rooms of a kindergarden in the village of Vlkov near Velká Bíteš, and a creation of a 3D model using the BIM method. The entire building has only one above-ground floor and consists of two structural parts. The first part is mainly designed from masonry and reinforced concrete elements. The second part is an annex consisting of two identical „wings“ with structural elements made of glued laminated timber. The supporting system consists of transverse frames formed by beams and columns, which are then supplemented with purlins that transfer the load of the roof and with stiffening elements in the form of steel tie rods. The timber extensions are covered with a mono pitched roof with a slope of about 5°. The static model and determination of internal forces were ensured by the Scia Engineer 22.0 calculation program. The assessment of individual elements themselves was done manualy using Microsoft Excel. Connections are solved using steel connecting elements that were selected and verified by manual calculation. A significant part of the work was based on cooperation with colleagues from the Institute of civil engineering and from the Institut of concrete and masonry structures.
Roofing of the summer house
Maxová, Natálie ; Bukovská, Pavla (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is to design and assessment of the load-boarding roof structure of a holiday house in the village of Nové Hrady, district of České Budějovice. It is about saddle roof with a slope of 20° above one-story building rectangular floor plan about dimensions of 7,5 m x 20,6 m. The structural system of the roof is made of a pair of wooden rafters made of grown wood, conected by a steel rod to a steel vertical. The peripheral load-bearing part under the roof structure are sand-lime walls and frontal wooden columns in the glass wall. The structural model was modelled in Dlubal RFEM 6.02. The software was used to determine the internal forces and judgments on the individual elements. The decisive judgments were verifies by manual calculation. Selected bolt or screw connections and the connection of the slab to the rafters were also resolved.
